Overview
Yangwon Lee ("we", "us", or "the developer") provides Fitness Slayer, a workout game that counts supported exercises and optionally syncs progress between devices. This policy explains what the iOS app processes, what may be stored, and the choices available to you.
Camera and motion processing
When you start a supported workout, Fitness Slayer asks for front-camera access. Camera frames are analyzed in memory on your device using Apple's Vision and AVFoundation technologies to estimate movement and count repetitions.
Fitness Slayer does not record, store, or upload camera images or video. It does not use the camera for facial recognition or identity verification.
Apple Health and walking rewards
Connecting Apple Health is optional. Fitness Slayer requests read-only access to step count only after you tap Connect Apple Health. It reads up to seven local calendar days to calculate walking rewards and excludes samples explicitly marked as manually entered.
For signed-in users, the daily date and step total are sent securely to the Fitness Slayer reward service to validate Gold and XP rewards. Raw step totals are not retained on the server. We retain only the highest walking milestone claimed for each recent date, cumulative walking XP, and the resulting game progression. Guest rewards are calculated on the device.
Fitness Slayer does not write data to Apple Health, use Health data for advertising, sell Health data, or use it for cross-app tracking.
Information you provide
You may use core local features without creating an account. If you choose cloud sync or a social sign-in method, we may process:
- Your email address, account identifier, and optional display name.
- Your selected sign-in provider, such as Apple or Google.
- Workout and game progress, including repetitions, XP, streaks, workout history, goals, settings, quests, and achievements.
How information is used
Account and progress information is used only to authenticate you, operate the app, restore your progress, and sync it between your devices. The iOS app does not use advertising SDKs, does not sell personal information, and does not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Service providers
Cloud sync is hosted with Amazon Web Services, including Amazon Cognito, API Gateway, Lambda, and DynamoDB. If you select a social sign-in option, Apple or Google processes the authentication request under its own privacy terms. These providers receive only the information needed to provide their respective services.
Google Sign-In's iOS SDK declares that it may process account contact information, a user identifier, coarse location, a device identifier, and limited usage or technical data for sign-in functionality and SDK analytics. Fitness Slayer does not use this information for advertising or cross-app tracking.
Storage and retention
Local game data remains on your device until you reset progress or remove the app. Cloud account and progress data is retained while your account remains active. Operational security logs may be retained by service providers for a limited period under their standard practices.
Your choices and deletion
- You can deny camera access and continue using non-workout parts of the app.
- You can decline Apple Health access without affecting push-up or squat workouts, and change Health access at any time in the iPhone Settings or Health app.
- You can use local progress without signing in.
- You can erase local progress from Settings > Reset all progress.
- You can permanently delete synced progress and your account from Settings > Delete account.
Account deletion removes the Fitness Slayer cloud-progress record and then deletes the associated Amazon Cognito account. For accounts created with Sign in with Apple, the app also asks you to confirm with Apple and revokes the app authorization through Apple's API. This action cannot be undone.
Security
We use encrypted network connections, provider-issued authentication tokens, and access controls intended to protect synced data. No method of electronic storage or transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Children's privacy
Fitness Slayer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so that we can investigate and delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top of this page will identify the latest version.
